Facebook plugin just a Band-Aid

In March, we mentioned we were in the process of updating our comments section to satisfy Department of Defense policy requirements.

We recently began using Facebook as a temporary fix while the Defense Media Activity, which administers our blog, is sourcing alternate comment platforms.

The benefit of the Facebook plugin is that comments on the blog also appear on Facebook and vice versa; however, the obvious drawback is that users must have a Facebook account to post comments.

Your comments are as important to us as the information we post, so we appreciate your patience as we search for a suitable solution.

In the meantime, we welcome your comments via:
Facebook
Twitter
Email: CESAS-CCO@usace.army.mil
Phone: (912) 652-5279.

As always, we appreciate your feedback, even if it’s just to say you’re not fond of our current feedback fixes.
