How do I find the weekly declaration and projection?

For the last three months, we have posted on this blog the weekly declaration and 10-week projection for the Savannah River reservoirs. We posted this information so stakeholders and the public would retain access while our water management website was down. Now that the water management site has been restored, we will no longer post the weekly declaration and projection to Balancing the Basin. However, you can continue to view this information by visiting the water management website at water.sas.usace.army.mil. Click the “Declaration and Projection” link in the table at the top of the page. It will automatically display the current weekly declaration. To view projections or previous weekly declarations, use the drop down menus at the top of the screen.

Our water managers publish new declarations and projections every Wednesday. Sometimes they issue revised declarations throughout the week if adjustments are needed based on rainfall, forecasts, or other factors.

If you have questions at any time about declarations or projections, feel free to post a comment on Balancing the Basin. Thanks for reading us!
